Llancaiach Fawr Manor House is a Grade 1 listed, award-winning living history museum set in the Civil War years.
Using high-quality historical building restoration techniques and authentic period decoration and furnishings, Llancaiach Fawr endeavours to make the past seem like the present. The house has been restored to the appearance it had in 1645, during the time of it's ownership by the Prichard family, aspiring minor gentry who came to prominence during the later half of the Civil War. Historic interpreters role-play the servants of the household in 1645,and greet daytime visitors.
