From art and archaeology to transport, industry and natural sciences, National Museums NI offers engaging experiences for visitors of all ages across its renowned museum sites. National Museums NI is made up of four museums the Ulster Museum located in Belfast's Botanic Gardens, Belfast which explores art, history and natural sciences; the Ulster Folk Museum, a living history museum showcasing traditional Ulster life and heritage based in Cultra, just outside Belfast; The Ulster Transport Museum, also located in Cultra, and features one of Ireland's most comprehensive transport collections; and Ulster American Folk Park, located near Omagh, which tells the story of Irish emigration to North America.
Together this diverse mix of venues act as custodians to around 1.4 million objects within the National Collection, and through interactive exhibitions, fascinating collections and immersive storytelling, guests can discover the people, places and events that have shaped Northern Ireland's past and present.
