This year we are excited to reveal two new exhibitions ‘20th Century Brides: A hundred years of wedding dresses’ and ’Youthquake: 1960s Fashion’. ‘20th Century Brides’ highlights the variety of our wedding dresses from 1910-1990.
‘Youthquake’ was co- curated with the students of today, keen to explore the fashion worn by their 1960s counterparts!
This June we are launching a display celebrating our shoe collection with ten show stopping pairs. We also have items of Victorian and Georgian fashion on display, the ‘Dorset Room’ to celebrate Dorset’s textile heritage and our ‘Laura Ashley: Kitchen Table to Catwalk’ and ‘Power and Dress: 1700s-1980s’ exhibitions extended from 2025.
We are open Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 10am-4pm, excluding bank holidays, please check social media for updates.
